Position Overview:

As an Instrument Engineer at Asia Card Clothing, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems within our manufacturing facility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of our production processes. Your expertise and attention to detail will be critical in maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.


  • Designing, selecting, and installing instrumentation systems for textile manufacturing equipment.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of instruments into existing production processes.
  • Developing and reviewing instrument datasheets, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimations for instrument projects.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues, performing root cause analysis as needed.
  • Developing preventive maintenance programs and conducting regular inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Monitoring instrument performance and implementing necessary upgrades or replacements.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Providing technical support and training to production personnel on instrument operation and maintenance.
  • Keeping up-to-date with advancements in instrument technology and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 Years of experience as an Instrument Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the textile industry.
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation design, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for instrument design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., ISA, IEC) relevant to the textile industry.
  • Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and other control systems utilized in textile manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex instrumentation challenges.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
