Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager with over 10 years of experience in managing the finances of a manufacturing company. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our company based in Gujranwala, Pakistan, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and taxation.

Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will be able to handle imports and taxation and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage financial policies and systems to ensure effective financial management of the company.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including taxation, customs, and other legal obligations.
  • Manage the company’s import and export operations, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance to management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree would be an added advantage.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a finance management role in a manufacturing company.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices, including accounting, financial analysis, and taxation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other financial software.
